Awards & Accomplishments


Emeritus Professor James Butcher recently published a new book with the American Psychological Association titled "Using the MMPI-2 in Forensic Assessment". Butcher, J. N., Hass, G. A., Greene, R. L. & Nelson, L. D. (2015). Using the MMPI-2 in Forensic Assessment. Washington, D.C.: American Psychological Association.

Professor John Campbell has been awarded this year's Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate and Professional Education Award. This honor is awarded to exceptional candidates nominated by colleges in their quest to identify excellence in graduate and professional education. The title "Distinguished University Teaching Professor" or "Distinguished University Teacher" is conferred, and John will receive a one-time $15,000 award. John will be honored at an awards ceremony at the McNamara Alumni Center on Wednesday, April 8th.

Associate Professor Randy Fletcher has been awarded the Morse-Alumni Undergraduate Teaching Award. Each year since 1965, the University of Minnesota has recognized a select group of teachers for their outstanding contributions to undergraduate education. This honor is awarded to exceptional candidates nominated by colleges in their quest to identify excellence in undergraduate education. As a recipient of this award, Randy joins members of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers (ADT). The title "Distinguished University Teaching Professor" or "Distinguished University Teacher" is conferred upon recipients together with a one-time $15,000 award. The awards ceremony will take place at the McNamara Alumni Center on Wednesday, April 8th

Assistant Professor Chun Wang has been awarded the 2015 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Division D Early Career Award. The award will be presented at the society's annual meeting in Chicago, IL between April 16th and 20th, 2015.

Stephan Dilchert, who received his PhD in I/O Psychology in 2008, has received the Eastern Academy of Management's Early Career Achievement Award. Stephan completed his doctoral work under the direction of Deniz Ones, and is now an Assistant Professor of Management at Baruch College of the City University of New York.
